HEARTFUL LEADERSHIP

Leadership is about influence because it is all about people. It is beyond managing something. As Peter Durcker had said it is about doing the right thing. People may listen to orders and requests of their bosses but will not follow them unless they feel connected. Connection can only happen in the heart. Thus the real job of a leader is to serve through wisdom and compassion which is hard still in modern times. We will talk about authentic leadership and leading with virtue and compassion which is a good topic after Thanksgiving; time of gratitude and appreciation.
